Attendance systems anyone? something biometric maybe?

I want a solution for an attendance system which can keep track automatically to the ins and outs of the company. I have experienced using handpunch fingerprint devices but they look cheap and takes so many retries. Does anyone know any faster system for that? I have heard the face scanning biometric devices are much faster and more reliable. Any opinions?
