What is the best alternative to Hotspot Shield?

A lot of sites are blocked in my country (Flickr, Tumblr, and some sections of Yahoo) and I've always used Hotspot Shield to access them. But lately I've been getting really annoyed with all the ads and additional trouble that comes with it. What can I download online that'll be a good replacement?
