Why can't I install Yahoo! Messenger?

I tried to install Yahoo! Messenger in my laptop, but then a pop-up window appears and said: Yahoo! Messenger is unable to download files needed for installation. Please check firewall settings and retry installation. There's nothing wrong, I even tried to turn off the firewall, but the same message keeps showing up, proxies are off. I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Please help?
